Recently, a Delhi man shared a heartwarming story in which a stranger set out to return his mother’s missing phone, which his sister had accidentally dropped in a mall parking lot.

On Reddit, user u/tedlassoo0 shared that his mother lost her phone in the parking lot of a mall in Delhi’s Nirman Vihar where they had gone to watch a movie. The man’s sister accidentally dropped the phone and only realized it when they were seated in the movie theater.

“Last night, my family and I went to watch a late night movie at V3S Mall in Nirman Vihar. While we, a full crew of 7.5 people, piled into the car, my cousin brother and I reached there with a skit. That’s where things went wrong: My sister He was holding my mom’s phone and just as he was getting out of the car in the parking lot… his brain fades… he drops the phone. Everyone is relaxing in the movie theater, getting ready to watch the movie, and suddenly my sister says casually, “Oh, I can’t find my mom’s phone.”

The original poster also explained how they managed to get back his mother’s lost phone. He said that when they realized that his sister did not have the device, they called the phone and a stranger answered the phone. The family thought they wouldn’t be able to get him back. However, they were relieved when the stranger assured them that he would return the money.

“BUT here’s the plot: V3S is not at the mall; he works at Crossriver Mall in Karkardooma and works there and assured us that he would hand over the mobile phone. Me and my cousin left the movie theater to get the mobile phone. We even jumped on the red there. lights to arrive as soon as possible,” the man explained.
