Hyderabad: Amid reports of Tesla’s plans to set up its manufacturing unit in India, BRS working president KT Rama Rao expressed concerns that Telangana was not considered for this prestigious project. The states of Gujarat, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra and Karnataka are said to be pioneers in the project.

Taking up X, Rama Rao questioned the use of Prime Minister A Revanth Reddy and his entourage of Ministers touring the US and other countries. He was angry that the state government had not even made an effort to draw Tesla’s attention to Telangana. “How shameful is the turn of events for a progressive State (like Telangana)?” he complained.
