A man has been arrested on suspicion of murder after a man in his 30s was stabbed in the neck in north Belfast.

The incident occurred shortly after 00:20 GMT on Monday 4 November in St. It happened in the Vincent Street area.

The man was stabbed while walking on the street.

He was taken to hospital due to his injuries.

A 32-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and possession of an offensive weapon in a public place. He remains in custody.

Police are asking anyone with information to contact them.
