Perhaps one of the greatest end-of-year speeches social media Just around the corner – Spotify Wrapped.

The music streaming giant clarified a long-standing mystery and rumor about the process last week, saying your streams may still be being counted as we speak.

“Spotify Wrapped doesn’t stop counting on October 31st,” the company posted on social media on Halloween.

Listeners have long wondered when the streaming window will close, as Spotify needs time to analyze and present the results. Some spend the last minutes squeezing their favorite songs and artists will try and guess the results. Being in the top 3% of an artist’s audience is a badge of honor.

While Spotify said it did not stop counting streams on Halloween as previously suspected, it did not clarify when the window would close.

What is Spotify Wrapped?

Spotify Wrapped is a personalized view of your year in streams. Listeners love this because they learn the artist and songs they listened to most that year, as well as perhaps an embarrassing number of repeats of their favorite song, and other musical or podcast information. Spotify delivers results in catchy graphics that can be easily shared other social media platforms.

Spotify also publishes its most listened to artists and songs during this period.

When will Spotify 2024 be completed?

Spotify Wrapped goes on sale on a different day almost every year, so it’s impossible to say exactly when to expect it in 2024.

But we can take cues from past years to get a time frame for what window to expect:

• November 29 (2023)
• November 30 (2022)
• December 1 (2021, 2020)
• December 5 (2019)
• December 6 (2018)

In the meantime, “Keep playing what you love and we’ll contact you when it’s ready” Spotify says.
