AP sources say Kamala Harris appears on SNL tonight

Kamala Harris is making an unannounced trip to New York to appear on “Saturday Night Live,” according to The Associated Press.

The AP said three unnamed people with knowledge of Harris’ plans confirmed that she had flown to New York and would appear on the late-night comedy show.

Earlier in the day, Harris was campaigning in Charlotte, North Carolina, and was scheduled to travel to Detroit. But after the plane took off, aides said the plane was actually heading towards New York.
