New Zealand defeated India 3-0 away in the Test series. This was the first time in India’s cricket history that they were whitewashed in a 3-match series at home. New Zealand players were delighted with their victory and began celebrating after the last wicket fell at the Wankhede Stadium on Sunday 3 November.

New Zealand Prime Minister Christopher Luxon described it as their biggest away series win and congratulated Tom Latham’s team for their incredible spirit. New Zealand were so dominant in the series that it raised questions about the temperament of India’s senior batsmen Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli to play Test cricket. So ecstatic. When we look at the start of the series we see that they are in this position now, the boys have done a great job in the last three Test matches.
