The Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) yesterday (November 2) arrested two persons, including former youth and sports minister’s personal assistant and former BCB chairman Nazmul Hasan Papon, in the Dhanmondi area of ​​the capital.

The other detainee is Abdul Hakim Raihan, president of Bhairab upazila Swechchhasebak Union.

Lt Col Munim Ferdous, Director of RAB Legal and Media Wing, said that they were arrested in a case filed for the attack on protesters in Lakshmipur area of ​​Bhairab upazila in Kishoreganj during the student movement on July 19.

Later, three separate cases were filed by Mamun Mia, Rubel Mia and Alam Sarkar regarding the incident at Bhairab Police Station.
