Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill defeated the teams of Iyo Sky and Kairi Sane, Lash Legend and Jakara Jackson, and Chelsea Green and Piper Niven in a Fatal 4-Way tag team match to retain the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship at Crown Jewel on Saturday.

In a chaotic contest that saw all eight Superstars take many risks, Belair and Cargill came out on top after attacking Niven with a pretty impressive Doomsday Device.

Last month, Belair and Cargill became WWE’s iron women, making regular appearances on SmackDown, Raw and NXT. As a result, they made many enemies along the way.

The duo saw their first title reign end at Clash at the Castle in June when Isla Dawn and Alba Fyre won a Triple Threat tag team match in Glasgow, Scotland, but they recaptured the gold at the Bash in Berlin in August.

After a successful title defense against Dawn and Fyre, Belair and Cargill entered the fray in October and successfully defended the titles against Sky and Sane on Raw, as well as Legend and Jackson on SmackDown.

In between these defenses, Bianca and Jade teamed up with Kelani Jordan in NXT to defeat Fatal Influence in a six-woman tag team title.

Green and Niven were at ringside when Belair and Cargill faced Legend and Jackson on SmackDown, and their presence clearly distracted Lash and Jakara, leading to an altercation and the champions ultimately remaining.

Legend and Jackson then faced Sky and Sane on NXT; Damage CTRL was attempting to avenge Lash and Jakara by distracting the crowd during their loss to Belair and Cargill on Raw.

However, there was no clear winner in NXT as Green and Niven entered the match unannounced and eliminated everyone.

Considering that many women’s tag teams in WWE clearly have issues with each other, it was decided that they would all compete in a championship match at Crown Jewel.

Belair and Cargill faced the toughest challenge of their era as they had to face three top teams at the same time, but they once again proved their dominance by taking the victory.
