BELLIGNHAM, Mass. (WLNE) — The Bellingham Police Department says one person was killed when a motorcycle and truck collided Saturday afternoon.

The accident occurred around 2:30 p.m. near Depot Avenue and Box Pond Road.

First responders arriving at the scene found the motorcycle driver unresponsive. He was transported to a local hospital where he later died.

The truck driver, who suffered non-life-threatening injuries in the accident, was also taken to the hospital.

The incident is still under investigation and police said speed may have been a factor.
