A man who admitted drinking more than three times the legal alcohol limit will appear in court again next month.

Stewart Scott, 60, whose address was given as Belgravia Road in Onchan, appeared before the judge at Douglas Courthouse.

Mr Scott crashed into another car on October 18 but left the scene; police later arrested him at his home.

The case was adjourned to December 12 and he was released on bail until then.
