An 80-year-old woman died after being struck by a car in Norwood Friday afternoon, Norfolk District Attorney Michael W. Morrissey’s office said.

The woman, whose identity was not immediately released, was pronounced dead at the scene of Morrisey. his office said in a statement.

He was shot at Garfield Boulevard and Pleasant Street around 5:30 p.m., the statement said.
