Maine (WABI) – Authorities say a 21-year-old man is facing charges following a hit-and-run crash involving a stolen vehicle in Glenburn.

On Wednesday morning, the Penobscot County Sheriff’s Office received a report of the crash on Broadway.

They said the vehicle was abandoned in Bangor a short time later.

They say it was stolen from Alton Tannery Road in Hudson.

The Sheriff’s Office said Andrew Wright fled the vehicle with a guitar and a speaker and was later found near the House of Hope in Bangor with only the guitar in his possession.

Wright is said to have admitted to selling the speaker for drugs.

Wright is charged with theft and failure to stop and provide information for a motor vehicle accident.
