HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) — A fatal situation at an apartment complex in northwest Houston is under investigation.

A woman was killed and a man was injured in a double stabbing on Long Point Road, the Houston Police Department said.

The victims were found with multiple stab wounds around 7:35 Thursday morning, HPD said.

The victims’ identities have not been publicly released, but police said they lived at the complex.

HPD Det. “I don’t think there is a threat to the community at this time.” Bowling said this at the scene but did not elaborate.

ABC13 saw what appeared to be a broom in an evidence bag loaded into the back of a crime scene investigation vehicle Thursday afternoon.
