Blue Anchor Pub in Delray Beach

This Delray Beach The pub is said to be haunted by the ghost of Bertha Starkey, an English woman who was gruesomely stabbed to death by a jealous husband in a pub in 19th-century London.

His ghost haunted the original pub, built on Chancery Lane in 1865, until its owners demolished it. The bar’s facade and interior were moved from London to Delray Beach in the 1990s.

Over the years, longtime employees have seen and heard strange and unexplained things.

This historic 1920s hotel in Lake Worth is said to be haunted by the ghost of a 6-year-old girl. He allegedly turned on televisions, flickered lights and tampered with the elevators when the hotel opened.

The hotel has been closed for years, and a developer has promised to renovate it for $70 million.

Jonathan Dickinson State Park (Martin County)

Vince “Trapper” Nelson, nicknamed the “Wild Man of Loxahatchee”, is the identity of the ghost rumored to be on the loose Jonathan Dickinson State Park. After moving to the area in the 1930s, Trapper eventually amassed 858 acres of land along the Loxahatchee River. In 1968, Trapper was found dead from a shotgun wound. The coroner declared it a suicide, but some, knowing his disputes with locals, believed he had been murdered. After his death, the state purchased the land and it became part of Jonathan Dickinson State Park in 1970.

Visitors can canoe along the Loxahatchee River to tour its cabins, docks, and cabins.
