InterContinental Dhaka recently signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Triune Group to be the hospitality partner of the 10th healthcare and medical equipment exhibition styled “MEDEXPO-2024”.

Triune Group will organize the three-day exhibition to be held at InterContinental Dhaka’s Ruposhi Bangla Grand Ballroom, starting November 6.

Entrance to the exhibition will be open to everyone between 10.00-20.00 every day.

Ashwani Nayar, general manager of the hotel, and Kazi Wahidul Alam, managing director of Triune Group, penned the MoU at the former firm’s office in the capital, a press release said.

National Professor AK Azad Khan, chairman of the Health Sector Reform Commission of the Interim Government and president of Bangladesh Diabetes Association, is expected to officially inaugurate the exhibition as the chief guest.

This year, leading hospitals and healthcare providers from India, Thailand and host Bangladesh are expected to attend.

In addition, well-known hospital, diagnostic and medical equipment manufacturers and suppliers will exhibit their state-of-the-art products at the fair.

Speaking at the event, Nayar appreciated Triune Group’s initiative to organize such an exhibition to showcase advancements in healthcare, medical science and technology sectors.

He said this would greatly benefit medical professionals, healthcare entrepreneurs and healthcare seekers in the country.

Alam welcomed InterContinental Dhaka joining hands in organizing the event as the Hospitality Partner and stated that MEDEXPO will provide a platform for direct interactions between various stakeholders of the healthcare and medical sectors.

We hoped that both sellers and buyers of various medical supplies, products and health services would benefit from the fair.
