WILMINGTON, Del. (WPVI) — All lanes of Interstate 495 in both directions are closed due to a serious crash at the Christina River Bridge in Wilmington, Delaware.

The crash occurred around 10:30 a.m. on the northbound I-495 highway on the Christina River.

It includes a tanker truck and another vehicle.

The helicopter was 6 up and you could see the front of a truck tucked under the tanker.

There is no statement yet on how the accident occurred, whether there were any injuries, and how long the road will be closed.

Delaware State Police advise drivers to seek alternative routes.
