HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – The Honolulu Fire Department is investigating the cause of a fire that broke out of a home in Aiea on Wednesday.

HFD received a call about the fire on Hapaki Street around 1:10 p.m.

Fire crews managed to bring the fire under control at 13.35.

While there were no injuries, two people died in the fire.

The American Red Cross is assisting these individuals.

In addition to damage estimates, the cause is also being investigated.
