(PIKES PEAK REGION, Colo.) — According to the Friends of Mueller State Park, there is so much wood left over from Saturday’s firewood sale on Saturday, Oct. 12, that a second sale will be held on Saturday, Nov. 2. 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. or until wood runs out.

According to Friends of Mueller State Park Facebook page, the sale will be held at the park’s Gate 36, 1.8 miles south of the Divide on CO-67 or 2 miles north of the park’s main entrance. Signs will be hung at the main entrance to direct customers to the sales location. Entrance to the park is free for those who purchase wood.

Firewood is mixed dry and green, not split, and cut into 12″ and 24″ lengths. Sales are cash only, and prices are $80 for a short-bed truck and $120 for a long-bed truck. The shipment states that there is no trailer and the buyer is responsible for loading their own truck. For questions, call the park at (719) 687-2366.
