LAREDO, Texas (KGNS) – A Laredo family is asking for the community’s help in identifying the driver they say caused their car to roll over multiple times.

The accident occurred at the intersection of Lomas del Sur and Cuatro Vientos in the early morning hours of Sunday, October 27.

The victim of the accident, Cynthia Linares, was traveling with her three children when another car suddenly tried to pass between her vehicle and the vehicle next to her, hitting her car from behind and overturning.

Calling it a miracle, Linares hopes the driver will be found and held responsible and urges the public to be careful.

“He didn’t even stop to check if we were all okay. So he just left the scene. As far as I know, they told me it was a white Chrysler. People were helping us that day. I’m so happy they’re there. I mean, God put them there at the right time,” Linares said.

Linares said the car was a total loss and was the family’s only means of transportation.
