Emergency work is being carried out to repair a series of small gas leaks in the Wiltshire town.

Wales & West Utilities said it was improving pipes in the center of Trowbridge and the work would be completed by November 4.

During repairs, Stallard Street will be closed at its junction with Station Approach and Wingfield Road.

Alan Bickerstaff, from Wales & West Utilities, said: “We know it’s not ideal to work in areas like this, but making sure we keep gas flowing into homes and businesses is really important.
