Coffee Factory in Bloomington now daily from 6 a.m. to midnight at 228 S. Grant St. Open at. The coffee shop is the newest location for Coffee Beanery, which opened its first store in Flushing, Michigan, in 1976 and has more than 100 locations across the United States.

Coffee Beanery brews a special blend of coffee beans and has around 50 flavored coffees that are sugar, lactose and gluten free. The store will sell brewed coffee, cold brew coffee and a variety of espresso options. There are also frappalettes and teas. In addition to beverages, Coffee Beanery also offers pastries such as coffee muffins, apple fritters, blueberry muffins, cranberry orange muffins and scones. In addition to breakfast sandwiches, there are also lunch sandwiches and paninis.

Although Bloomington Coffee Beanery is already open, the store’s grand opening celebration will take place Nov. 8-10, with free coffee, games and prizes each day.

Bloomington store owner Asra Khan has added impossible sandwiches to her menu. Khan, who was operations manager at Dunkin’ for 18 years, said he knew they would be a Bloomington favorite. The Impossible sandwich will be served with a croissant instead of a bagel like most other breakfast sandwiches.

Khan also has an owner Wings Zone restaurant in Indianapolis. He anticipates adding Coldstone Creamery to one side of the Grant Street restaurant in spring 2025. Events are also planned at the cafe, which has seating for up to 50 people both indoors and on the patio. He hopes many Indiana University students will come to sip their beers and use the wireless internet.

Brightside Cafe, now gluten-free certified, will offer a special offer for students in November

Brightside CafeLocated on the ground floor of Fountain Square in downtown Bloomington, it recently received its Gluten-Free Approved certification; This has achieved Gluten Free Certified certification. Carney said the name came because Brightside Cafe had become more established in the community. “I think we’ve had great success in what we do,” Carney said.

Brightside Cafe offers Wi-Fi in Fountain Square on Sundays in Smithville. Carney said all college students can get free coffee to go to free parking and there will be mugs for students to get their caffeine fix. While the cafe usually closes at 14.00, it will remain open until 19.00 from the second week of November.
