The last meeting between the Timberwolves and Dallas Mavericks was not pleasant for the Minnesotans.

Dallas won the Western Conference finals series between the two teams four games to one last spring and then lost to the Boston Celtics in the NBA Championship Series.

The Mavs and Wolves face off tonight at Target Center, and Minnesota will look different following the September trade of Karl-Anthony Towns to the New York Knicks for Julius Randle and Donte DiVincenzo.
