AKRON, Ohio (WJW) – A man convicted of murdering a man Akron The woman in the driveway was ticketed.

Antonio Miller, 27, of Akron, was sentenced Monday to life in prison for the 2022 murder. Tina Case.

Tina CaseThe 50-year-old man was shot and killed in his car shortly after pulling into his driveway on April 7, police said.

Miller must serve at least 36 years in prison before being eligible for parole.

“Antonio Miller is a dangerous person who ambushed a beloved mother in her car. He deserves to spend the rest of his life behind bars. My hope is that today’s sentencing will bring some justice and peace to Tina Case’s family,” Prosecutor Kolkovich said in a press release.

On September 23, 2024, a Summit County jury found Miller guilty of the following charges:

• Aggravated Murder with a Gun – An Unclassified Crime

• Two Murder Counts with Weapon Specifications – Unclassified Crimes

• Serious Assault Involving a Weapon – Serious Crime by 2 Persons^And Degree

Investigators said security video linked Miller to the crime.
