President Donald Trump, in many of his recent speeches, described November 5, 2024 as “the most important day in American history” and “Liberation Day” in our country. This Election Day, Trump is promising to save Americans from the open border, socialist and globalist policies of the administration of President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris.

Due to the disaster of Kamala Harris’ administration and campaign and the popularity of his “Make America Great Again” (MAGA) agenda, President Trump is making significant headway in the polls.

For the first time in his three presidential campaigns, Trump leads his Democratic rival in the Real Clear Politics national polling average and in all battleground states. This is much better than Trump did at this point in 2016 or 2020.

One reason for his success is that Trump is gaining ground in historically “blue” Democratic states and with typically loyal Democratic Party voters such as young people, African American men, and Hispanic voters.

These numbers are alarming for Democrats because Trump’s actual lead may be even larger than the polls show. In 2016 and 2020, Trump’s support was undercounted and not accurately reflected in poll results. The same situation may occur in this presidential election.

No wonder Democrats are so desperate. Speaking to Harris supporters in Kalamazoo, Michigan, on Saturday, former First Lady Michelle Obama said: “I wake up at night wondering, what in the world is going on? To me, the real question is not whether Kamala is ready for this moment…. because he showed that he was ready in every respect. The real question is: Are we ready for this moment as a country?”

Incredibly, Michelle Obama concluded that Americans who did not vote for Harris were both sexist and racist. He said Trump’s victory would have “terrible consequences” that would inflict “real fear” on America.

This belief is shared by former Georgia gubernatorial candidate Stacy Abrams, who claimed that the movement of African American men towards Trump was due to “sexism” and “racism.”

Of course, these accusations are ridiculous; There are countless reasons for all Americans to reject Harris. His record as a California politician and Vice President is appalling. He has failed on every major measure, from the economy to the border.

His performance as a presidential candidate in this election was terrible. Harris has been on a steady diet of “word salads,” even among left-wing media outlets sympathetic to her candidacy.

After a recent town hall appearance on CNN, former Obama administration adviser David Axelrod praised her performance. He complained, “What concerns me is that when he doesn’t want to answer a question, his habit is to kind of go to Word Salad City.” Axelrod explained that after CNN host Anderson Cooper asked her about Israel, Harris “gave a seven-minute response, but none of it was relevant to the question she was asking.”

Aside from her terrible performances on friendly shows, Harris has refused to appear on shows other than a Fox News interview that might challenge her with tough questions. For example, despite repeated offers, Harris refused to interview Joe Rogan, the country’s most popular podcaster.

In response, Trump participated in a 3-hour marathon with Rogan and appeared on many other podcasts. He has the confidence to go on these shows because he has such a solid track record of defending himself as President. Trump gave Americans significant tax cuts, low inflation, a secure border, energy independence, a strong military, and world-wide peace.

Clearly Democrats don’t want to discuss real policies, and they know that most Americans are worse off today than they were during Trump’s presidency. This is the key question that Ronald Reagan made famous in his 1980 campaign, and the main reason why Americans don’t want four more years of Biden/Harris policies.

Harris did not state that there was a big difference between her policies and the Biden administration’s policies so that it would be “more of the same.” So instead of debating policies, Democrats decided to engage in a despicable strategy: the hateful demonization of Trump and his supporters.

While this demagoguery is disgusting, it is a long-standing practice for Democrats. During the 2016 election campaign, Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton claimed that Trump and “half” of his “supporters” could be placed in the “basket of deplorables.” He described them as “racist, sexist, homophobic, xenophobic, Islamophobic… and unfortunately there are people like that and he stood them up.”

In this campaign, hateful loser Hillary Clinton continued to hurl vile insults at President Trump and his supporters. Last Thursday on CNN, Clinton compared Trump’s big event at Madison Square Garden in New York City to a pro-Nazi rally in 1939. Incredibly, he said Trump “essentially re-enacted” the Nazi rally.

Of course, such an interpretation is not only unreasonable, but also provocative. This is an insult to President Trump and his millions of supporters. But unfortunately Clinton is not the only Democrat pushing this ugly rhetoric.

Trying to scare Americans about Donald Trump has become Vice President Harris’ closing argument. Although her supporters initially said Harris would bring “joy” to the American people, that message was abandoned weeks ago.

No joy from Kamala Harris today; nothing more than a steady diet of hate. At the CNN town hall meeting, Harris was asked if Trump was a fascist and she replied, “Yes, I am.”

The problem with this kind of nonsense is that Trump has not acted like a “fascist” during his four years as President. Instead, it ensured peace, prosperity and border security.

Democrats are desperate because they have controlled the White House for 12 of the last 16 years, and Americans are hungry for change. Fortunately, “Liberation Day” is just around the corner.
