BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WBRC) – Two people died as a result of a motorcycle accident in Helena on Sunday.

According to the Helena Police Department, a collision occurred between a motorcycle and a vehicle on Highway 95 in the Riva Ridge Road area.

Authorities reported that the two drivers on the motorcycle died at the scene of the accident.

It was stated that Highway 95, which was closed for a long time, was reopened.

The Shelby County Traffic Homicide Squad is investigating the crash.
