JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – One man is dead and another suffered non-life-threatening injuries after a shooting at a park on Jacksonville’s Westside Saturday night, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office.

Investigators said around 7:30 p.m. Saturday, off-duty officers were at Wiley Road Park when they heard gunshots.

Officers found two men suffering from gunshot wounds, and Jacksonville Fire and Rescue took one of the men to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, while the other died at the scene.

Detectives said the investigation into the incident continues.
