Cowboys’ Trevon Diggs Served as Reporter After Loss to 49ers

Following the loss, Cowboys star cornerback Trevon Diggs attacked a reporter who questioned his effort after the game. The reporter appeared to ask Diggs about his effort during a particular play, which caused the cornerback to respond in a very upset manner.

“Is that what you got from the whole game? You don’t know football. You can’t do anything I do. You can’t go out there and do nothing. Stay in your lane, man. Stop playing with me, bro,” Diggs remarked to the reporter.

The reporter then doubles down and says: “I’m just asking a question, Trevon. I’d be happy for you to answer the question.”

Diggs then returns and repeats his original question. “Is that what you got from the whole game?”

Diggs begins to walk away when the reporter asks once again, “We can talk more about this.” “Talk to the Deez geeks,” Diggs replied.

It’s kind of crazy for the reporter to question a pro play like that, even though Diggs couldn’t catch a receiver or what the reporter perceived happened on that play. NFL players put their bodies on the line and sometimes their efforts or games do not achieve the intended result.

Tensions are certainly high for the Cowboys, who are now behind in the NFC East division. Washington Commanders is in first place with a score of 6-2, followed by Philadelphia Eagles, who is in second place with a score of 5-2.

The Cowboys drop to 3-4, which puts them three games behind the Commanders. Both the Commanders and the Eagles look like they will be tough to deal with in 2024.

Last night’s loss is another frustrating turn for the Cowboys, who look like they can’t beat the 49ers. Dallas is 0-4 in its last four games dating back to the 2022 season.

Diggs is one of the best cornerbacks in the league and is coming off an ACL tear he suffered in early 2023. Before his injury, he led the league with 11 interceptions in 2021 and was named a Pro Bowler and All-Pro. . He followed that up with a strong 2022 season, which also earned him a Pro Bowl nod.

The 49ers are a tough team to deal with from any defensive standpoint given the sheer number of weapons they have. Diggs may have missed a big game, but he’s still one of the best secondary players in the league.
