Loch Ness attraction, one of the most visited Historic Environment Scotland Sites across the country will remain closed for a few days in early November.

Historic Environment Scotland has warned visitors that Urquhart Castle, near Drumnadrochit, will be closed from Monday to Wednesday, November 4-6.

It will reopen on Thursday, November 7.

Historic Environment Scotland said the closure was to allow “essential maintenance works” at the popular site.
