Raygun keeps his own memes on his phone: ‘I have a digital pool room’

Olympic break dancer Raygun has a surprising new look.

The Australian Olympian, whose real name is Rachael Gunn, became a source of global ridicule during the Paris Olympics.

Dressed in an Australian tracksuit that looked more like a cricket uniform than a breakdancing outfit, Raygun hopped like a kangaroo and slithered across the floor like a snake in a routine that failed to impress the judges.

On Sunday, the breakdancer looked completely different on the cover of this week’s Stellar Magazine and when her first fashion shoot was shared on Instagram.

On the magazine’s cover, Raygun swapped her green and gold tracksuit and baseball cap for a body-hugging, wide-sleeved electric blue dress.

In keeping with glamorous fashion, she wore a black halter neckline with a deep V-neck, a striking cream jumpsuit and a form-fitting little black dress.

The academic-turned-breakdancer looks daring as she poses with her hands on her hips against a backdrop of yellow nylon and bright blue.

Raygun wore her hair up in a long ponytail for the shoot and opted for a bronze makeup look with dark red lipstick.

She completed her look with black heels.

The accompanying cover story reads, ‘What did Raygun do next?’, along with a quote from the interview inside. writes.

‘You didn’t break me. You failed. “I will stand behind what I do,” he says.

Raygun keeps his own memes in a folder on his phone, which he says have helped him stay sane over the past few months.

‘Can you believe this?’ she asked the interviewer as she showed off a selection of her favorites, including a photo of herself dancing on the back window of a Jeep.

‘How good is this? ‘I’ll buy this for my car.’

‘I have a digital pool hall of the best.’

While Raygun was comprehensively defeated in all combat rounds at this year’s Paris Olympics, his routine went viral, even being mocked by the likes of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.

In a major twist, he returned from Paris to be ranked the world’s No. 1 breakdancer, despite not even coming close to winning a medal due to a quirk in how dancers were rated.

The icon of the night said that on her worst days, she would glance through the binder to remind herself that she enjoyed the experience as well as the showers of social abuse.

‘It was very difficult to process,’ he said.

‘My whole world has changed. My identity has changed. My relationships have changed for better or worse. Unfortunately, it’s times like these that you find out who your real friends are.

‘And it’s impossible to understand because some things are still changing. It’s hard to predict what it will be like when I leave home.’

Raygun,

“I am a 37-year-old, childless, confident woman who has a career and has fun,” Raygun said.

In her first fashion photo shoot and accompanying interview, the unconventional Australian icon said she put much of the public anger towards her down to her age and childless status.

“I’m a confident 37-year-old woman with no kids, a career, having fun,” she told Stellar.

Another glamorous shot showed Raygun posing against a bright blue wall, her hands clasped behind her head and one knee pulled up to her chest.

She wears a bold red lip and makes direct eye contact with the camera as if daring people to challenge her.

Since returning to Australia early last month, Raygyn has said she has deliberately kept a low profile and turned down many media appearances and reality TV shows.

‘There was so much hatred and emotion that I had to wait for everyone to calm down a bit.’

But now he is gearing up for a few new projects and is getting ready to step into the limelight himself.

Additionally, he’s getting a new honor on the front lawns of homes across Australia, with handmade tributes to his routine being erected ahead of Halloween on October 31.

A Melbourne resident has immortalized his kangaroo jumping routine with a paper sculpture, complete with Aussie tracksuit and Olympic flag.

The artist is unknown but a local called radio station 3AW to report that the ‘statue’ had been erected on a nature strip in the suburbs.

‘After his great breakdancing success in Paris, Raygun is now dancing on the streets of the north,’ the caller said.

3AW presenter Ross Stevenson was stunned when shown a picture of the memorial.

‘This is incredible,’ he said.

‘This is great. Someone erected a statue of Raygun.

‘In someone’s backyard or on a public street?’

The caller replied: ‘On a nature strip, on a public street.’

Stevenson said: ‘This is extraordinary.

‘Look at the balance they managed to achieve there with that statue. How do you do this?’

This isn’t the only Raygun tribute filmed ahead of Halloween.

At another house in Melbourne, a fake skeleton was used, posed in a kangaroo jumping dance position and dressed in the same tracksuit.

Another skeletal tribute was photographed in an unknown location in Australia, complete with LED red glowing eyes.
