LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT)—A cool, clear evening awaits us. Temperatures will initially drop to the 50s. As we approach the night hours, clouds will begin to increase and overnight lows will start to cool down to the high 30s to low 40s.

Sunday will start off sunny with lots of cool weather, and temperatures will still be in the 40s in the mid-morning. Plenty of sun will be with us throughout the day as we see seasonal temperatures rising into the low to mid-60s. Some areas in Southern Kentucky could even climb into the upper 60s on Sunday. Skies will be clear Sunday evening as we add overnight clouds. The weather will be cool again; Low temperatures in northern and central Kentucky will be in the mid to upper 30s. Lows will only fall into the mid-40s in Southern Kentucky.

We will have a sunny and cloudy start to Monday. Monday will be a very mild day as temperatures begin to rise again. Highs on Monday will look to be in the low to mid 70s. The sky will be mostly cloudy in the evening and a little less cloudy at night. Lows will be fairly mild by late October standards, in the mid to upper 50s.

Tuesday will feature partly cloudy skies and a warm and windy afternoon. Tuesday’s highs will be in the mid to upper 70s. Skies will be mostly clear throughout the evening and overnight as we experience mild weather again with lows dropping into the mid 50s. There will only be a few hot spots with temperatures falling into the mid to upper 50s.

Wednesday will have plenty of sunshine with just a few clouds passing through. It will be another hot and windy day, with temperatures reaching the upper 70s to around 80 degrees! Partly cloudy weather will prevail throughout the evening and night; The weather will remain fairly mild, with lows only dropping into the mid-60s.

Halloween is when we see our next chance for rain. This will be the best rain shot we’ve seen in a long time. We start the day with cloudy skies and see periods of rain arrive in the afternoon. It’s going to be a windy Halloween with winds gusting 30-40 miles per hour. Highs will be in the mid to upper 70s. Lows will drop into the mid-50s.

Friday will start with light showers early in the day, with much cooler weather and highs dropping into the mid-60s. Next Saturday looks to be mostly dry weather, with temperatures in the upper 60s to lower 70s.
