Although not many details are available, an officer-involved shooting in Camdenton is being investigated by the highway patrol.

Camdenton police are known to have responded to the residence on 3rd Avenue twice late last night and/or early this morning. This is the same home where officers responded to a report of a person barricaded inside a few weeks ago.

This time, around 3:00 this morning (Fri, 10/25), Camden County responded in support and one of its deputies reportedly shot the suspect, who was taken to a hospital in Columbia at last check.

The highway patrol is expected to release more details later today. KRMS News will deliver those details at that time.
