MyMichigan Health, the Midland-based owner of the Alpena hospital, says turnaround times for most imaging results are back to normal after a delay of several months.

MyMichigan, like other hospital systems, has been affected by a nationwide shortage of radiologists who handle things like MRIs.

The hospital system added a radiologist primarily for oncology patients, assigned a provider to read bone density tests, and more.

MyMichigan said the system continues to see delays at its newest hospitals in Saginaw, Standish and Tawas, but those delays are being worked on.
