Inside Venom: The Last DanceEddie Brock and Venom plan to travel to New York to clear the name of the former accused of Detective Pat Mulligan’s death.

When Venom brought Eddie back from the dead in 2018 PoisonA Codex was created that reawakened Knull, the God of Symbiotes. He wants to destroy everything and sends his Xenophage out into the universe to retrieve the “key” created by Eddie and Venom’s bond that will free him from his prison on Klyntar.

Meanwhile, a shadowy military organization is collecting Symbiotes in Area 51, where Dr. He is being studied by Payne and protected by a reluctant General Rex Strickland.

After being chased through the Nevada desert and Las Vegas, Eddie and Venom are captured and separated. Mulligan is abandoned by his Symbiote, but is rescued by another alien in the army’s collection, becoming an easy source of exposition throughout the film.

However, when the Xenophage attack occurs, Toxin is immediately killed and the other aliens bond with mostly random security guards and scientists to buy the time he needs to fend off the invading creatures and escape to Venom (he and Eddie are reunited by a helpful Christmas income). -loving scientist who briefly disguised herself as She-Venom before getting her own costume).

An epic battle ensues, with most of the symbiotes dying in battle courtesy of Knull’s army. Dr. Payne transforms into the electric Agony; The scientist was struck by lightning as a child, in an accident that killed his brother.

Venom and Eddie realize they must make the ultimate sacrifice to save the world and keep Knull in prison. After healing its host’s wounds, Venom forces its host out and attaches itself to the surrounding Xenophage. Growing to enormous size, the Symbiote pulls them into a nearby machine that the military is using to destroy Area 51’s secrets with acid.

At Venom’s direction, Rex soaks Venom and Knull’s army in the deadly substance, and with his final act, Venom makes sure to save Eddie after an emotional farewell (while Rex blows himself up to help finish the job).

Back on Klyntar, Knull senses the destruction of the Codex and screams in anger while trapped in his prison.

With that, Venom died and Eddie’s name was cleared as thanks for his heroic actions. Earlier in the film, Venom mentioned that he wanted to see the Statue of Liberty, so Eddie, who wanders around New York as a montage of his and Venom’s best moments playing out, succeeds in that regard by traveling to the Big Apple and all things considered. his fallen friend.
