A woman whose body was found in the trunk of a car last week died of suffocation, according to the results of the autopsy.

A manhunt is on for Harshita Brella’s husband, Pankaj Lamba, who police believe has fled the country.

Officers said today his body was found in a silver Vauxhall Corsa.

They believe she was killed on the evening of Sunday, November 10, and taken east to Ilford from the couple’s home in Corby, Northamptonshire, in the early hours. London.

Police determined that Ms. Brella’s initial cause of death was asphyxiation following an autopsy.

As the manhunt continues, new CCTV footage of 23-year-old Pankaj Lamba has also been released.

Detective Chief Inspector Johnny Campbell, of the East Midlands major crime unit, said: “We suspect Harshita’s body was placed in the boot of the vehicle by Lamba before he left Corby.

“Lamba then left the vehicle in Brisbane Road, Ilford and fled.”

Northamptonshire Police, the East Midlands major crime unit and the National Crime Agency are working together to find him.

The inquest into Miss Brella’s death will open at the Guildhall in Northampton on November 20.
