Jury finds woman guilty after her UTV was stolen

BINGHAMTON (WBNG) – The Broome County District Attorney’s Office says a woman has been convicted of possessing a stolen UTV.

The District Attorney’s Office said a jury found Nicky L. Lynch, 38, of Endicott, guilty of third-degree possession of stolen property on Nov. 14.

On March 27, New York State Police found Lynch with a stolen Gator UTV valued at more than $3,000, the office said.

The DA’s Office said witnesses testified during Lynch’s trial that he used the UTV multiple times in March. In a statement to State Police, Lynch admitted that he suspected the UTV was stolen.

Lynch is scheduled to be sentenced on February 14, 2025.

Senior Assistant District Attorney Nathaniel J. O’Neil prosecuted the case.
