FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) – The Fort Wayne Police Department (FWPD) says an investigation is ongoing after a man was found dead north of downtown Saturday night.

According to the department, officers responded to a residence in the 600 block of Tennessee Avenue for an unknown issue around 11:30 p.m.

Police and medical teams arriving at the scene found one person dead in an apartment in the building.

FWPD says limited information is available at this time, but homicide detectives are working to gather all available information regarding this case.
