A second suspect appears to have been arrested in connection with a series of incidents violent sexual assaults On the north side of Houston.

BACKGROUND: Man W. arrested in connection with sexual assaults at Gulf Bank, but HPD believes second suspect involved in other assaults

On Friday night, the Houston Police Department announced an arrest in X as part of an investigation into at least five assaults in the West Gulf Bank area.

The arrest comes just days after the arrest of 29-year-old Denzeill Sneed, who was linked to two of the five reported attacks.

Although the five attacks were initially investigated as a search for a single serial predator, HPD officials announced that the search for a second perpetrator was ongoing after Sneed was taken into custody.

The second attacker is believed to have been arrested tonight, although authorities have not provided specific confirmation at this time.
