Moreover, the Heathrow Express, which is the lifeline of many holidaymakers, will not operate at all.

When all these closures are brought together, it becomes clear that London’s transport network will be paralyzed and the city will be in a deadlock. Purgatory Apocalypse.

But don’t worry, you have options. Here’s everything you need to know about the train disruption in London this weekend:

Saturday, November 16:

Bakerloo line:

There is no service between Queens Park and Harrow and Wealdstone. But TfL has thrown a rope in for anyone living locally via the dedicated 718 bus service, which will run between the two stations in north-west London.

London Northwestern Railway and Southern services will continue from Harrow and Wealdstone as if there were no problems.

Northern line:

There will be no services between Camden Town and High Barnet between 01.15 and 03.45. Night owls are advised to hop on the N20 instead.

From 03.45 there will be no train services between Archway and High Barnet in north London.

London Overground:

There has been a minor change to the timetable as the last train from Stratford to Willesden Junction at 12.14pm ends at Camden Road at 12.37pm.

Overground will not operate between Euston and Watford Junction throughout Saturday. Similar to the Bakerloo line, North Western Railway or Southern services are also good alternatives.

Elizabethan line:

Bad news for people hoping to get out of the UK as there will be no service between Hayes and Harlington and Heathrow (All Terminals). The Piccadilly line will serve the airport as normal.

Ealing Broadway, Southall and Hayes and Harlington will be served by six trains an hour, while West Ealing will be served by just four trains an hour.

DLR:

There is no service between Canning Town and Stratford International.

Waterloo and City line:

Considering the line was designed with commuters in mind, it doesn’t operate at all on Saturday.

Heathrow Express:

Due to engineering works, the airport shuttle will not operate in both directions.

Sunday, November 17

Elizabeth’s line:

There will be no train services between Reading/Heathrow (all terminals) and Abbey Wood/Stratford until 7am, the area most affected by the closures so far.

There will also still be no service between Hayes & Harlington and Heathrow (All Terminals).

As on Saturday, fewer trains will run between Ealing Broadway and Hayes and Harlington. West Ealing, Southall and Hayes and Harlington will see just four trains pass per hour.

London Overground:

The three main arcs of the surface will fail on Sunday. Not a single train will run between Willesden Junction and Watford Junction.

There will be no service between East London’s Barking and Barking Riverside stations until 14.30.

There will be no trains running between Gospel Oak and Barking Riverside from 8pm until the end of the day.

Waterloo and City line:

Surprise, surprise, it’s still closed. The service is only available between 06:00 and 12:30, Monday to Friday.
