The Calgary Zoo/Wilder Institute is once again inviting people to get into the holiday spirit by purchasing Zoolights.

The annual, family-friendly event sees the Calgary Zoo decked out in thousands of twinkling Christmas lights, including dozens of dazzling displays.

“This captivating experience has become a treasured part of Calgary’s holiday season, providing the perfect setting where guests of all ages can create memories that will last a lifetime,” spokeswoman Alison Archambault said in a press release.

This year marks the 28th season of Zoolights at the zoo.

The event will take place most nights from 5pm to 9pm from November 15th to January 5th, 2025, weather permitting.

It is closed to the public on 26 November, 25 December and 31 December.
