Gabriel, Gabriel Martinelli and Leandro Trossard kicked off the Gunners’ international duty program on Thursday night.

Brazilian duo Gabriel and Martinelli drew 1-1 with Venezuela.

Center back Gabriel played the full 90 minutes and made 76 touches with 91 percent passing accuracy. He won three of four aerial duels by blocking three shots on goal.

Martinelli entered the game instead of Bruno Guimaraes in the 82nd minute.

Raphinha put Brazil ahead on the threshold of half-time, but Telasco Segovia pulled one back early in the second half.

Brazil ranks third in the World Cup qualifiers with 17 points from 11 matches, two points behind Colombia and five points behind Argentina.

Leandro Trossard played the 90 minutes of the match in which Belgium lost 1-0 to Italy at home.

Sandro Tonali scored the only goal of the match in the 11th minute.

While Belgium ranked third in the UEFA Nations League A League Group 2 with 4 points from 5 matches, it could not catch up with France and Italy.

William Saliba was an unused substitute in France’s 0-0 home draw with Israel.
