SUMMARY: Philadelphia Eagles beat Washington Commanders for 6th straight win

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) — Saquon Barkley rushed for 146 yards and two touchdowns in the fourth quarter, Jalen Hurts ran for the go-ahead score after a concussion evaluation and the Philadelphia Eagles continued their lead in the NFC East with a 26-18 win over Jayden on Thursday night. The Eagles (8-2) earned their sixth straight win after the bye, but it came with a serious scare.

Hurts’ head was driven into the turf by linebacker Frankie Luvu in the second quarter, and the $255 million quarterback’s head bounced off the ground. Pain rolled onto his stomach and caught his helmet. He was examined in the sideline medical tent but remained in the game and finished with 221 yards passing.

With the Eagles leading 12-10 in the fourth quarter, Washington was poised for a field goal and coach Dan Quinn elected to go for a field goal on fourth down. Daniels scrambled and was stopped for no gain, and less than three minutes later Barkley scored on a 23-yard run.

Jake Elliott kicked the extra point after missing his previous attempt (along with two of four field goals) to give the Eagles a two-point lead.

Daniels, who finished 22 of 32 for 191 yards and a late touchdown, was intercepted by safety Reed Blankenship on Washington’s next play, and 12 seconds later Barkley finished with a 39-yard touchdown run to lead the Commanders (7-4).

Washington entered with a chance to take first place in the division, but left with its second straight loss.

A LOT OF CHRISTMAS

Before the NFC East game, Jason Kelce and Mt. The band Joy put their fans on holiday and in the winning spirit.

“I don’t know what the song is about. I came for Jason Kelce and he outperformed,” said Stefan Talabisco of Wilmington.

They said their singles to be released finale “A Philly Christmas Party Special” It is scheduled to be released on November 22.
