No one was injured in a fire at an apartment in Lompoc Thursday night.

As of 8:30 p.m., College Boulevard was closed between North T and V streets while crews remained on scene.

Lompoc fire officials told KSBY that everyone inside was able to get out safely because the fire primarily damaged only one apartment unit. It was reported that two neighboring flats were exposed to flames but did not suffer major damage.

The teams arriving at the scene started work to determine where and how the fire broke out.

Fire officials said they were trying to find a place to spend the night and that at least four people were displaced.
