NEW HANOVER COUNTY, NC (WECT) – Anyone who witnessed the deadly shooting at the Walmart in Monkey Junction on Saturday, November 2 is asked to contact the New Hanover County Sheriff’s Office (NHCSO).

Dean Michael Newman was accused of fatally shooting Mark Thomas Paz, who was working at Walmart at the time, just before 6 p.m.
