Weather in Calgary: Mild weather conditions continue in Calgary

We’re almost halfway through November and so far the overall conditions have been hot and dry. This trend is not expected to change anytime soon for Southern Alberta.

Thursday is shaping up to be an above-seasonal day with a high of 9 degrees this afternoon. The normal high for this time in November is 2C!

There is wet weather on the west side of the Rocky Mountains that can make road conditions slippery around the BC border into the Kootenays, but most of this precipitation is blocked by the mountains.

The key weather in the forecast for Calgary today will be light clouds and calm winds. Not much to complain about today!

As we get to the weekend, we will start to see temperatures start to return to normal, but they will still remain above seasonal values until Monday.

From a conditions standpoint, it looks like late Sunday when another low pressure system from BC could lead to some evening showers over Calgary that could continue into Monday as well, but the models are a little bit all over the place this far out.

We will have a better idea of how much precipitation we may receive by Friday.
