GULFPORT, Miss. (WJTV) – An Ocean Springs man pleaded guilty to producing child pornography.

According to court documents, Eric Jason Fiorentino, 30, caused a minor in another state in January 2023 to produce visual depictions of a minor engaging in sexually explicit acts. Prosecutors said Fiorentino produced videos and images using an internet chat platform for texts and live videos. He took the images with his cell phone in Jackson County, Mississippi.

Fiorentino is scheduled to be sentenced at 10:30 a.m. on March 12, 2025, and faces a minimum of 15 and a maximum of 30 years in prison.

The case was investigated by Homeland Security Investigations with assistance from the Jackson County and Stone County Sheriff’s Offices and the Hesston, Kansas Police Department.
