A 58-year-old Weston man was killed in a two-vehicle crash on South Dixie Highway north of Cygnet Road early this morning.

At 6:02 a.m., the Wood County Sheriff’s Office investigated a crash that occurred when a southbound Chevrolet pickup driven by Kurt Mazey of Weston went left of center and struck a northbound GMC pickup operated by 23-year-old Dishawn Arnett of Fostoria.

Mazey was pronounced dead at the scene.

Amett was transported to Blanchard Valley Hospital by North Baltimore EMS with non-life-threatening injuries.

The crash remains under investigation as of Wednesday (11-13-24).
