My Chemical Romance returns with ‘The Black Parade’ tour

NEW YORK – Almost twenty years ago, My Chemical Romance released their career-defining rock opera, “Dark Parade” amplifies their passage through mainstays emo scene to mainstream recognition and become one of the most creative bands of the 21st century.

In 2025, fans will experience the 2006 album once again: The band will embark on a 10-date North American stadium tour, where they will perform “The Black Parade” in its entirety following their headlining performance last month. Las Vegas’ When We Were Young Festival.

The tour, announced Tuesday, will kick off in Seattle on July 11 and end in Tampa, Florida, on September 13. It hits San Francisco; Los Angeles; Arlington, Texas; East Rutherford, New Jersey; Philadelphia; Toronto; Chicago and Boston.

Each appointment will feature a different opening scene from experienced names. Alice Cooper and Devo to alternative rock contemporaries like Evanescence and Thursday, as well as newer talents like 100 Gecs and Wallows.

My Chemical Romance formed in 2001 and have released four studio albums throughout their career; The first debuted with 2004’s “Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge”. Them They announced their separation in 2013; a year later, they released a greatest hits collection titled “Let Death Never Stop You.” They announced their reunion in 2019, then privately revealed their reunion two years ago.

A reunion tour was planned for 2020, but was rescheduled due to the pandemic and It has been postponed until 2022. That year, they released their first new song since 2014: “The Foundations of Decay.”
