Martin Scorsese explains his daughter Francesca’s makeup tutorial in funny TikTok moments

Legendary filmmaker Martin Scorsese may be the master of cinematic storytelling, but his latest foray into social media proves he still has the world of beauty figured out.

The 81-year-old director lent his voice to describe his 24-year-old daughter Francesca Scorsese’s latest “get ready with me” TikTok video, and the results were both adorable and hilarious.

The video begins with a green screen video of Francesca Scorsese applying skin care and makeup; Martin Scorsese delivers his candid and often bemused explanations and comments in the images featured in the clip, while Francesca Scorsese occasionally laughs and sings in the background.

“She’s painting her face,” Martin Scorsese says as he watches his daughter apply concealer under her eyes and around her nose.

Martin Scorsese looks increasingly confused as he draws his daughter’s lips.

“You told me I did too much,” Francesca Scorsese replied, to which her father responded: “Yes, I’m afraid it’s too much.”

The funniest moment was when Francesca Scorsese took out her Fenty Beauty lip gloss and Martin Scorsese said, “This is nail polish, you can’t fool me.” saying.

Martin Scorsese then concludes his video narration by saying, “You guys are crazy. I swear.”

The clip went viral with fans loving the unexpected pairing.

“Your dad is funny, he should make a movie,” one commenter joked.

“Seeing Martin Scorsese on TikTok will never get old,” said another.

NYU Tisch School of the Arts graduate Francesca Scorsese is no stranger to the spotlight. In addition to his viral TikTok content, he has also had small roles in Martin Scorsese’s films such as “The Departed” and “Hugo.”

Martin Scorsese shares Francesca Scorsese with his wife Helen Morris and has two more daughters, Domenica Cameron-Scorsese and Cathy Scorsese, from previous relationships.
