Dorit Kemsley Says Son Jagger Is ‘Resilient’ After ‘Traumatic’ Surgeries

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Star noted that Jagger is “limping a little bit” but no longer uses a walker. “It was scary and difficult and challenging, but she was so strong and brave,” he said. “My children hadn’t even had blood drawn at this point. “Next thing you know, we’re in the emergency room.”

Dorit claimed it was “a bit of a misdiagnosis,” so by the time they got to the emergency room, “it was already advanced.” He added: “I had about 10 minutes from the moment they told me he was going to be taken into emergency surgery to the moment they wheeled him away.”

Dorit called the experience “very traumatic” and “very scary” but added, “Thank God she was okay.” explained Jagger. underwent second surgery five days later and “a few more setbacks” occurred.

“Seeing him not walk for a month, being in the hospital for two weeks, and then coming out with a wheelchair and a walker, and seeing him limping and walking and soon going to start running — kids, they’re so resilient. “They’re coming back,” he said. “Thank God, he’s doing really well. That’s why I’m very happy.”

Dorit said she had a “really good” time spending Halloween with PK, 57, Jagger and their daughter Phoenix, 8, as she reflected on their family’s bond following the health scare. (Dorit and PK got married in 2015, they announced their separation in May.)

“It was great,” she said, adding that it was their tradition to wear family costumes. “We love it and can’t wait. When Jagger was in the hospital and we didn’t know what was going on, I didn’t know if it was actually going to be Halloween. And so, for us to be able to do that and get dressed and for me to be able to take them trick or treating, it was everything. That’s why I’m very happy.”

Trying to fulfill her responsibilities as a mother, Dorit is working with 59-year-old Medley for the Words With Friends campaign. Dorit stated that the game is “therapeutic” and “doesn’t require a lot of energy.”

“You don’t have to communicate, you don’t have to text, but you still feel connected,” he said. “It feels like there is something very comforting, very exciting. Effortless.”
