Brian Robinson Jr. Playing Today? (Injury Update, Betting Impact for Steelers vs.)

Washington Commanders running back Brian Robinson Jr. will not play against the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 10 due to a hamstring injury that also kept him out last week against the New York Giants.

Robinson, Washington’s top runner at the running back position this season, leaves a huge hole on offense against the AFC North-leading Steelers.

Washington will likely rely on a committee of veterans Austin Ekeler and Jeremy McNichols in Week 10 after McNichols took eight shots and Ekeler had 11 in Week 9.

While McNichols has found a role for himself from time to time this season, Ekeler has been the clear leader in the two games Robinson missed.

Here’s how I’ll target veterans in the prop market in Week 10.

In the two matches he played without Robinson, Ekeler has not yet been able to clear the support of the offensive zone, carrying the ball only 20 times in these two competitions.

What he did do was pick up 40+ receiving yards in both games, which is where I’ll target him again in Week 10.

This season the Steelers have allowed 41 receptions and 340 receiving yards in eight games. This is a good situation for Ekeler, who caught at least two passes in every match he played this season.

Trusting Washington’s running game may not be easy, so I’ll be counting on Ekeler to showcase his impressive receiving ability on Sunday.
